President of Casualty Actuarial Consultants, Inc. Ed Costner graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Actuarial Science in 1975. He is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He is also a member of the Risk Management Section of the CAS.
Ed is President and CEO of Casualty Actuarial Consultants, Inc. (CACI) located in Brentwood, TN, which he founded in 1989. CACI specializes in working with both individual and group self-insureds across the country. CACI currently provides services to over 100 self-insured groups and to approximately one hundred individual self-insureds, captive insurance companies, domestic insurance companies, and insurance regulatory organizations.
In the last year, Ed has spoken at the Southwestern Actuarial Forum, the Homebuilders Multi-State Conference, the AGC/SIF Information Exchange, and the SIIA Group Self-Insured Workers' Compensation Executive Forum. He is Past-President of Casualty Actuaries of the Southeast, a regional affiliate of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
