EMILY KAY BROOKS 

Actuarial Analyst of Casualty Actuarial Consultants, Inc., Ms. Brooks graduated cum laude from David Lipscomb University with a Bachelor of Science degree in May of 1993. With a major in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Finance, she maintained a 3.6 grade point average on a four-point grading system. During her college career, Ms. Brooks was a member of the Mathematical Association of America and was inducted into the Alpha Chi National Honor Society.

In June of 1988, Ms. Brooks joined Willis Corroon Administrative Services Corporation. Initially a part-time employee while a full-time student, she became a full-time employee upon graduation. Her responsibilities included processing claim payments, excess recoveries, deductibles, experience reports, and claims service contracts.

Ms. Brooks joined Casualty Actuarial Consultants, Inc. in June of 1995. She has completed Part 1 of the seven exams required for Associateship in the Casualty Actuarial Society. She has gained experience in establishing loss reserves and calculating rate indications for self-insured groups and individual risks in several of the property and liability lines, including workers compensation. Additional responsibilities include calculation of loss cost multipliers, feasibility studies, and dividend calculations.
